  • Grass Tabby Bright white/green foliage makes an ornamental accent plant & provides vitamins and fiber for cats.

  • Mint Often proves as much of an aphrodisiac to cats as its better-known species mate, Cat Nip.

  • Nip When cats sense the bruised leaves or stems they rub on the plant, roll & paw at it, lick it, or chew it.

  • Nip Lemon Has the same effect as regular catnip on felines, and it is a natural mosquito repellent.

  • Fine Leaf An ornamental and gourmet chive variety with tender, fine leaves that don't get tough with age.

  • Coriander Leaves are cilantro. Seeds are coriander. This common plant is an essential ingredient in many cuisines around the world.

  • Coriander Santo The magic in this one is the slow bolting nature. Very good in warm weather conditions where standard cilantro doesn't last.

  • Dwarf Lemon Fruity citrus flavor in both the leaf and seeds. Leaf texture is finer than that of standard cilantro.

Coleus cannus - full sun/filtered light.

  • Scaredy Cat Bright blue flowers adorn green foliage through spring & summer. Odor is offensive to both dogs and cats.

  • Called the curry plant because of the strong smell of its leaves. The plant blossoms produce an oil used medicinally.

Dill - full sun.

  • Bouquet Leaves have classic dill flavor for garnishing and culinary use. Most widely grown. Good seed and leaf yields.

  • Fernleaf 1992 AAS winner. Very slow to bolt. Abundant, dark blue-green foliage. Great in containers or in small spaces.

  • Indian (Long Island Mammoth) A must for pickles. Also good in breads and can be used fresh or dried.

Epazote - full sun. 

  • Indispensable ingredient in Mexican chili sauces and bean dishes. Pungent flavor with camphor and minty overtones.

Eucalyptus - full sun.

  • Baby Blue Round, intense silver blue foliage widely used in flower arrangements. It is suitable for smaller gardens.

  • Citriodora Lemon Bush Used as an insect repellant and valued for its medicinal properties, Lemon Bush Eucalyptus is considered an annual in Zone 7 and lower.

Fennel - full sun

  • Bronze Feathery bronze foliage with sweet flavor. Non bulbing type. Seeds used in teas and tinctures as a digestive aid.

  • Bulbing (Vegetable) Prefers fertile, well drained soil with adequate irrigation. Plant in fall or early spring so it can mature before temperatures rise and days get long.

  • Green Feathery green foliage with sweet flavor. Non bulbing type. Seeds used in teas and tinctures as a digestive aid.      

Fenugreek - full sun. 

  • Both leaves and seeds are used in Indian cuisine. Leaves carry a maple syrup fragrance while seeds are used for pickling and in spice mixes.

Feverfew - full sun.

  • Small, yellow and white, daisy-like blossoms. Pungent, aromatic self-seeding perennial. Medicinal: Fevers, minor pain.      

Garlic - full sun.

  • Early Purple Italian This classic Italian hardneck is one of our most popular. Delicate and sweet spiciness with a mild, grassy flavor.

  • Elephant Four to six enormous cloves in each bulb with a mild garlic-like flavor. The cloves are very easy-peeling.

  • Inchelium Red From Inchelium, WA, on the Colville Indian Reservation. Large 3" bulbs produce 8-20 cloves with mild, but lasting flavor and a hint of heat.

  • Spanish Roja The garlic of choice in fine restaurants because of its easy-to-peel cloves and outstanding rich garlic flavor.

Horehound - full sun.

  • The leaves of this herb are often used to flavor juices and teas. Horehound candy is used to soothe sore throats. Perennial.

Hyssop - full sun

Lemon Grass - full sun.

  • West Indian This is the preferred culinary variety. The stalks are more flavorful, larger and more bulbous at the stem base.

  • Specialty culinary herb. Young leaves taste like celery and are used in spring salads and with potato and poultry dishes.

Marjoram - full sun/filtered light.

  • Sweet Aroma is similar to oregano, but sweeter and more balsam-like.  Edible flowers: use as you would the herb.

Melissa officinalis - full sun/filtered light.

  • Citronella Balm High oil content. Use in herbal teas, fruit, and fish dishes, or plant in a pot as a mosquito repellent for your outdoor sitting area.

  • Lemon Balm Used since ancient times to calm the heart & body. Its delicate lemony flavor uplifts the spirit and any culinary dish it is added to.

  • Orange Balm Nice orange fragrance. Bee attractant for use as a pollinator. Use in herbal teas and preparing food.

Mexican Mint Marigold - full sun/filtered light.

  • Often compared to licorice and anise and used raw or as a garnish. In Mexico, leaves and flowers are used for tea.

Milkweed (Asclepias & Gomphocarpus) - full sun. Grown pesticide free specifically to protect the monarch caterpillars that feed on them.

  • Asclepias Fascicularis Narrow-leaved Milkweed has a wider native range and more garden tolerance than most of the other native species.

  • Asclepias Speciosa Showy milkweed is native to much of the western half of North America. Fragrant, pink to purple flowers on thick umbels.

  • Asclepias Tuberosa Native to portions of Canada and the lower 48 United States. Blooms are orange to orange-yellow and stems have little milky sap.

  • Gomphocarpus Physocarpus This milkweed family member is native to southeast Africa and is a well-known host for Monarch Butterflies.

  • Apple Good flavor and strong green-apple fragrance. Pink to white flowers and rounded, downy leaves. Excellent in fruit salads.

  • Berries & Cream A delicious fruity mint great for summer drinks! Berries and cream has a delightful fruity flavor and scent and is a compact grower.

  • Black Currant Blackcurrant scent over a spearmint base with this beautiful plant, which produces dark green leaves with a flush of Blackcurrant color.

  • Chocolate A mint with a refreshing, chocolate/peppermint patty aroma, perfect for use with chocolate desserts.

  • English Another Spearmint variety commonly referred to as "yerba buena" in Latin American communities.
